Covid-19 Policy

I am so happy to finally be able to re-open my photography studio! I have done much research and taken advise from other companies on how best to protect your beautiful families when entering the studio. Please carefully read the bullet points below on what I will ask of you before entering the studio.

  • You will be contacted 24 hours before your photo shoot to ensure all members taking part are well and not showing any symptoms (Please stay home if anyone taking part/coming to the studio has shown symptoms for the safety of myself and other clients. We can easily reschedule appointments)

  • Please be assured that safety is my top priority when looking after you and your family

  • As I will be working closely with newborns and children it is my duty to ensure all clients are protected during the session with me

  • Basic information will be shared with NHS test and trace if required with your knowledge(I will not share information with other parties)

  • My studio is classed as a home studio therefore I will be taking extra precautions of cleaning the entrance/exit hallway and bathroom that clients will also be accessing

  • All equipment, toys, fabrics and the studio itself with be cleaned prior and post shoot using antibacterial cleaning products and hot washes on fabrics

  • There will be hand sanitiser upon arrival and throughout the session as well as other hand washing facilities

  • Please leave non essential items in the car

  • Please leave your shoes outside the front door once coming through the main entrance

  • It is advised to wear a face mask upon arrival and I will be wearing one throughout the session for your safety (If your little one does become unsettled a face shield is available which will be cleaned before and after each session) You will be asked to remove your mask for photos and replace after

  • Only 2 adults and 3 children maximum to attend the studio who are going to be photographed, ideally from immediate families to reduce risk and follow guidelines (where possible family members who are not being photographed to be left with a responsible carer)

  • There will only be two photoshoots per day to allow time for the sanitation of the premises

  • It is ideal that you come to the studio from home

  • It is difficult for me to interact with your child as I usually would due to wearing face covering so parents will be having more of a 'hands on role' to reduce social contact

  • When your little one is being photographed on the backdrop please try and stay behind me and only go to the backdrop when asked to give me time to allow social distancing (Newborns you will be asked to be to the side of the backdrop/posing prop)

  • Clients are responsible for supervising children in the studio at all times and to follow social distancing guidelines

  • Please discourage little ones from touching things as we all know they like to explore

  • Seating areas will be covered and washed after each use

  • I am going to be limiting newborn photoshoots due to the nature of touching newborns and I will not be touching their hands or faces

  • All photoshoots will be limited to no more than an hour to minimise the amount of time indoors

Prior to attending the photo session if you believe you have been in contact with anyone who has a cough or fever or if you feel unwell before the session please let me know straight away to reschedule your session.

Should I become unwell or show any of the relevant symptoms associated with coronavirus then I will be in contact to reschedule your session and close the studio for 14 days.

If you become unwell two days after your session, please inform me immediately even if you think it is mild.

If I feel that anyone in the studio appears to have a cough or fever I have the right to stop the session and ask you to reschedule.

You are choosing to visit the studio at your own risk during this pandemic. Rest assured I will do everything in my power to ensure my studio is safe for you. This policy has been put into place for you and your families safety.
